Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Tornado Residents

Charleston, WV (HNN) -- West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil water advisory for Tornado customers, as well as those in the Upper Falls and Greenview Road areas. The advisory was issued Monday, July 7, after a water main break caused a water service disruption.
 
Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption. West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with other West Virginia American Water customers in the affected area listed above.
