Boil Water Advisory for Tornado Residents Extended
Advisory includes Tornado, Upper Falls and Greenview Road

Charleston, WV (HNN) -- West Virginia American Water has extended a boil water advisory for customers living in the Tornado and Upper Falls areas of Kanawha County to also include Greenview Road. The advisory was issued early Monday, July 7 after a leak caused a service disruption for customers in the area.
 
Customers in those areas should boil their water before consumption until further notice. Customers are asked to bring water used for drinking, cooking and brushing teeth to a full boil for a minimum of one minute, then cool before use.
 
Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms that may be present in the water. West Virginia American Water also recommends the following steps:
