GASOLINE SURVEY
Prices Dropping at Many WV Stations

Hinton, WV (HNN) – Gasoline prices in Hinton stayed the same as last
week's
$2.29 a gallon on Jan. 6, 2007 at the Chevron Foodmart in Avis
(pictured), at Jarrell’s Exxon in Bellepoint, the Go Mart, as well as
the
Exxon and Cargo stations on the bypass.
Statewide, the lowest observed price on Jan. 6 was $2.18 a gallon at
Mystik
in Martinsburg; gas wa $2.21 a gallon at KO and Go Mart on Route 460
in
Green Valley near Bluefield, the same as last week according to
http://www.westvirginiagasprices.com. Gasoline was also $2.19 a gallon
at
Certified Oil Co. in Parkersburg on Jan. 6. Other prices: $2.23 at
Speedway,
BP and Rich Oil in Huntington; $2.24 at Kroger and Chevron in
Barboursville;
$2.40 at 7-11 in Charles Town; $2.39 at Exxon in Spencer and Fairmont
and
$2.32 at most stations in Morgantown, including Dairy Mart, Sheetz and
Exxon.
In the Charleston area, on Jan. 6 Pilot in Nitro had regular at $2.19
a
gallon, down from last week’s $2.23 a gallon, according to

Other Jan. 6 prices: $2.21 at TA Travel Center in Hurricane; $2.19 at
Go
Mart in Poca; $2.25 at Rich Oil in Jefferson; $2.36 at BP in Clendenin
and
$2.35 at Exxon in central Charleston and the same price at Pennzoil in
Kanawha City.
