By HNN Staff
Davis, WV (HNN) – The Fireside Grill and Timbers Pub will be in full
swing
serving barbeque ribs, steaks and full menu to the guests at Timberline
Four
Seasons Resort the Winter Wild West Weekend. Western clothes will
definitely be in style at the Timberline Ski Lodge and on the slopes.
The Saddle Tramps, in full western regalia perform traditional western
style
music reminiscent of the early west, interspersed with contemporary
sounds
at the Fireside Grill and Timbers Pub from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. JB
Tenney
and Macho Willy will perform rhythm and blues from 9:00 p.m.to 1:00
a.m.
Friday and Saturday, Jan. 5 and 6. There is no cover charge for any
performance.
Despite the unusually warm winter weather Timberline has opened eleven
ski
slopes including two slopes from the top of the mountain’s 1,000 foot
vertical, White Lightning and The Drop. The snow base is 30” to 62”.
This
amount of skiing base is feasible because of the recent extensive snow
making investment of water pumps and snow guns by the resort.
Timberline’s ski school will direct the popular children’s program from
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. over the weekend.
