GASOLINE SURVEY
Prices Stay Steady or Decline at Many WV Stations

Hinton, WV (HNN) – Gasoline prices in Hinton stayed the same as last
week
$2.29 a gallon on Dec. 30, 2006, at the Chevron Foodmart in Avis
(pictured), at Jarrell’s Exxon in Bellepoint, the Go Mart, as well as
the
Exxon and Cargo stations on the bypass.
Statewide, the lowest observed price on Dec. 30 was $2.21 a gallon at
KO
and Go Mart on Route 460 in Green Valley near Bluefield, compared with
last
week’s $2.25 at Sam’s Club in Vienna, according to
http://www.westvirginiagasprices.com. Gasoline was also $2.21 a gallon
at
Sam’s Club in Clarksburg on Dec. 30 and $2.25 at Chevron in Mineral
Wells;
$2.25 at Finishline, BP and Exxon in Parkersburg and $2.26 at Speedway
in
Huntington. It was $2.28 a gallon on Dec. 30 at BP in Huntington;
$2.43
at Marathon in Spencer; $2.40 at Speedway in Clendenin; $2.39 at Exxon
in
Moundsville and $2.39 at Exxon in Moorefield.
In the Charleston area, on Dec. 30, 2006, Pilot in Nitro had regular
at
$2.23 a gallon, according to http://www.charlestongasprices.com.
Other Dec. 30 prices: $2.23 at TA Travel Center in Hurricane; $2.25 at
Kroger and Go Mart in Cross Lanes; $2.25 at Go Mart in Elkview; $2.27
at Go
Mart in St. Albans and Institute; $2.39 at Chevron and Exxon in
South
Charleston and $2.35 at Exxon in Central Charleston.
