Adult Flag Football Tournament to Assist in Building Lil’s Pigskins Program
Special to Huntingtonnews.net
On Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 3 pm Quantum Soccer Center will be holding
an indoor adult flag football tournament in order to introduce parents to
the Lil’s Pigskins program.
"It is a great place to play football because it is 175 x 70 with
artificial grass and it has temperature control," Said Aaronwood, managing
owner.
Quantum Soccer Center is branching out into the sport of football by
holding the tournament and starting a league for all ages in April. In
addition, Wood has developed and is now implementing a child development
football program called Lil' Pigskins.
Wood said that the program is designed for children to learn about
football, to have fun playing games with footballs, and to increase their
overall health. Our dynamic curriculum is safe, non-aggressive, child
focused, and comprehensive. From 3-8 years old, the program focuses on
increasing athletic ability, leadership, confidence, and knowledge of the
game.
"The tournament is a great way to get parents involved, so they can check
out the Lil' Pigskins program and learn to enjoy the game of football
again as adults," said Wood.
Quantum Soccer Center is located in Hurricane, West Virginia and they
offer all things soccer including leagues, camps, classes, tournaments, a
soccer shop and great food. Please visit the website at quantumsoccer.com
