Charleston, WV (HNN) West Virginia Republican Party Chairman Doug McKinney released the following statement in response to the passage of Obama's Health Care experiment late last night in the U.S. House of Representatives.

"I was extremely discouraged to see that not only had this massive new government program passed at a time when we West Virginians can ill afford it but that West Virginian Congressmen Mollohan and Rahall were among the handful of Democrats whose votes at the last minute allowed this monstrosity of a plan to become law."

"It is clear now that despite Democrat assurances to the contrary, Americans taxes will go up and our health care options will go down. This bill does nothing to help West Virginians who are struggling with rising insurance premiums, but instead is loaded with sweetheart deals and kickbacks for special interests. West Virginian's deserve reform that addresses costs and efficiencies by reigning in out of control lawsuits and the worst practices of megalithic insurance companies. Instead we got a law that creates 16,000 new IRS agents an a government bureaucracy that will kill small businesses and the millions of jobs those small businesses create"

"We made calls, sent letters, emails, faxes, even marched on Washington; but in the end, it turns out there is only one way to effectively deal with the kind of arrogance we've seen from our so-called representatives. This November we need to Vote them Out!"
