Where is Rahall on Obamacare

Williamson, WV (HNN) – Republican candidate for Congress, Elliott "Spike" Maynard, called on Congressman Nick Rahall to announce his position on the government takeover of healthcare currently before Congress.
"Rahall should stand up TODAY to Obama and Pelosi and let them know that the people of West Virginia do not support their liberal agenda aimed at a massive takeover of our healthcare, growing our government and increasing our taxes," commented Maynard. "The effects of this legislation could devastate our rural healthcare delivery system in Southern West Virginia."
"It is shocking Rahall would support a bill that cuts $500 billion in Medicare, when he represents one of the most elderly populations in the country," Maynard commented. "It just shows how out of touch Rahall and his liberal Washington friends have become."
Pointing out that major reform of the healthcare delivery system across the country would likely limit a patient's right to make decisions, Maynard continued, "Each patient should maintain a private, personal relationship with their doctor, not have some government bureaucrat in the decision-making process."
Maynard concluded, saying "This whole process is sickening. Rahall needs to stand up to Pelosi and reject all the back room deals involved with this healthcare bill."
Spike Maynard is seeking the Republican nomination for the 3rd Congressional District of West Virginia. Maynard is a former West Virginia State Supreme Court Justice and trial judge from Mingo County.
