Federal Employees to Observe Day of Mourning for Ford on Tuesday, Jan.

Huntington, WV (HNN) – By Executive Order, President George Bush has
declared Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, as a national day of mourning for
President
Gerald Ford and has ordered Federal Government offices closed.
All Federal employees will be excused from duty for the scheduled work
day
on Jan. 2, except those who cannot be excused for reasons of national
security, defense, or urgency of public business.
