LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Entrepreneurship Summit Needs Real Entrepreneurs -- From the U.S.A.

President Obama, together with the Department of State and the Department of Commerce, will host the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C., on April 26 and 27. Participants from over 40 countries on 5 continents have been invited to participate.

We have been told that the Summit will highlight the role entrepreneurship can play in addressing common challenges while building partnerships that will lead to greater opportunity abroad and at home.

At his June 4, 2009, speech in Cairo, President Obama announced that the U.S. Government would host a Summit on Entrepreneurship to identify how the United States can deepen ties between business leaders, foundations, and entrepreneurs in the America and Muslim communities around the world.

Well, if President Obama and the Democrats are going to host a meeting at the Ronald Reagan Building, then I hope they can call up the former President’s ghost and listen to what a real entrepreneur knew about jobs. Jobs here at home!

This economy of this country was built upon Entrepreneurship of individuals in this country! I’m afraid the poor fellows (the Founding Fathers) are rolling over in their graves right now – seeing that President Clinton sent our jobs to China and then to have to see President Obama and Democrat Congress borrowing money from the Muslims that our great grandchildren will break their backs paying off -- trillions of dollars that seemingly has been poured down a rat hole…

The Founding Fathers didn’t reach out to England or France for a handout. They wanted true freedom to build this country up from the work of Americans.

"The summit will highlight the role entrepreneurship can play in addressing common challenges while building partnerships that will lead to greater opportunity abroad and at home," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

Obama said the United States was seeking a "new beginning" with the Islamic world to rebuild relations that had sharply deteriorated over the past decade.

If West Virginia sends a delegation to the summit, then let’s hope it will be Reagan Entrepreneurs who know how to create jobs here at home.

Certainly, we wouldn’t want to send the “Tax ‘Em To Death” Democrats we have in the West Virginia State Capital or any of our two U. S. Senators.

Why not send Entrepreneur John Raese whose family business has created thousands of jobs in this state? And, I will assure you -- without selling out to the Muslims.
