Huntington, WV (HNN) -- The director/producer of “We Are Marshall” does not
sit still. Currently, he’s in production with the “Hot Wheels” film
featuring Kirby Morrow and produced by Anna Mastro, Neal Moritz, and David
Womark. James Robinson scripted the film.
However, excitement brews down south in Atlanta where an IMDB source reports
that Patrick Ingram, extras casting director for “We Are Marshall,” has said
that “Revenge of the Nerds” is setting up a production office in Atlanta.
Ingram is currently working on “One Missed Call” in Georgia.
Georgia’s tax incentives have been given as a reason that more films have
selected the state as opposed to the Carolinas, according to comments at
IMDB.
In fact, according to Ingram and other inside sources, “Revenge of the
Nerds” hopes to start shooting sometime in October.
McG will produce the feature which will be directed by Kyle Newman. Newman’s
recent films have been “The Hollow,” “Drone,” “Bitten by Love” and “The
Cyclist.”
In addition, McG has been listed as the producer on “The Pussycat Dolls,” a
TV series that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the modern burlesque
song-and-dance group. Eight episodes are in pre-production.
