DEVOTION: King of Kings

We can't help but WONDER at creation... the beauty and mystery of how life is sustained... how the smallest... most minute cells have a reason and purpose for being.
 
How can we say Thanks... for the King of Kings... the Master Designer who continues to bless us with goodness and mercy even in the midst of our struggles... moment by moment.
 
Thanksgiving begins with an awareness of what we have been given... Divine Goodness that is unconditional and everlasting.
 
"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
 
When we forget who made us... God forgives.
 
When we are ungrateful for today... God forgives.
 
When we refuse to accept forgiveness... peace.. hope and joy... God forgives.
 
When we are oblivious to God's gift of love... Agape forgives.
 
O God... I will never understand how YOU... King of Kings could ever know my heart, mind, body and spirit. Your vast knowledge and power escapes my comprehension... yet if it were not for you... I am nothing. I want to see you in the full moon... in the bounty of nature... in the glow of the season... in my family and friends and grasp the meaning of "giving Thanks". Help me bow down... yet lift up my eyes to discern and receive the purpose of my life in the center of creation. Thank you for loving me forever... and saying... "This is good." Truly, you are King of Kings!
