DEVOTION: Our God Is

Early on before we developed into such sophisticated human beings... people felt incapable of writing or speaking of GOD. God was far too holy and majestic for mortals to understand or be in relationship to the fullness of God's glory.
 
We set God apart. Our life seems too trivial for the Master Creator and we consider God to be in "the heavens beyond"... a great distance from our day to day existence.
 
"Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, dwelling with men and women! They're God's people, God is their God."
 
The truth is... GOD IS WITH US...and this amazing grace brings joy... comfort... peace and purpose.
 
If you meditate on nothing else today but this "random act"... what more could inspire us and give us hope!

O God! You are with us... everywhere. You are in the midst of today. Open our eyes, Lord, that we can see you.. hear you... touch you in every circumstance. You love us in every corner of our lives. You wait close by to bring us healing and hope. You call out to us and offer your hands of strength... your heart of forgiveness... your mind of faithfulness. You are the ONE we can trust with every need... every prayer... every cell of our body. O God help us today in every way to KNOW AND BELIEVE... OUR GOD IS!
