DEVOTION: Alien Help

A thought provoking program on the History channel recently suggested that more frequent alien visitations have been documented. Commentary hinted that maybe it is time again for "the gods" to give us more hands on help as we face so many new and challenging technological innovations.
 
With video cameras and numerous satellites... we are more capable of seeing and recording movement in the galaxies that surround us. We are not as skeptical of those ancients who studied and reported the phenomenal possibilities of life beyond planet earth.
 
The physical and spiritual realm holds open so much more than we ever could imagine; our mind, body and soul thirst for nourishment and direction in this day of deepening discovery.
 
"God knows all and does all: God changes the seasons and guides history; provides both intelligence and discernment; opens up the depths, tells secrets, sees in the dark~~light spills out from God. No mere human can solve the king's mystery, I don't care who it is—no one wise, enchanter, magician, diviner. But there is a God in heaven who solves mysteries."
 
Look to the heavens today... the latest full moon being a vivid reminder of bright light and mysterious color that "hovers" over and around us.
 
O God... help me be willing to admit how fragile and frail I am when it comes to understanding the way of this world and way beyond. It is so complicated and full of mystery and possibility... yet the uncertainty and intricacy ... day to day is frightfully overwhelming. Open my mind and spirit to your visitations of comfort and healing... no matter what form they may appear. Strengthen my faith and hope that you NEVER LEAVE US ALONE... that you come and touch; reveal and restore; teach and nurture; console and empower... that alien visitation from One whose nature is filled with compassion and enlightenment is what I long for... and what you will provide. Kumbaya, My Lord... Come by here!
