DEVOTION: The Lord is Risen Indeed

Entombed by pain... activity... separation... bigotry... hatred... war... lifestyle... weather... health... abuse... we know the feeling of RELEASE!! Being set free... even if only for a moment!
 
Rejoicing on Easter morning... is our assurance that GOD'S LOVE PREVAILS. Perfect love that cast out all fear... all our struggle... beginning here on earth and continuing into all eternity.
 
Easter morning is a "taste of God's goodness"... just as the sweet reminders we give and receive are tangible symbols of the meaning and purpose of our being.
 
We get a glimpse of glory for inspiration as Easter people who keep on keeping on ... toward the renewal of mind, soul, body and spirit.
 
Coming back from battle... coming back from surgery... coming back from broken relationships... coming back from the cemetery... coming back from court... coming back from oncology... coming back from the sanctuary... coming back from the mall... coming back from work... coming back from school... coming back from so much stress and trauma of yesterday... we run towards the empty tomb and shout HALLELUJAH... HALLELUJAH...HALLELUJAH... GOD'S LOVE PREVAILS.
 
If only for a moment... we are DRESSED AND READY... in newness of mind and heart... we CELEBRATE RECONCILIATION AND RESTORATION IN OUR LIFE!
 
In dazzling garments and emphatic words we hear the GOOD NEWS:
 
THE LORD IS RISEN! THE LORD IS RISEN INDEED!
 
God's power of love is stronger than whatever binds you to death!!
